FixedIncomeColor.com is an on-line community designed to facilitate interaction between participants in the fixed-income markets.  Sponsored and administered by Bill Berliner of Berliner Consulting & Research, the site contains information, data, commentary and research on a variety of fixed-income investment products.  The site is currently divided into two major areas:

Forums:  This section gives all members the ability to initiate and participate in conversations on developments in the different markets.  Participants can get, and give, information on flows, inquiries, levels, and developments in the various markets.  Designated members will also be able to post “pricing grids” showing where they think various products are quoted and trading.

Articles:  Approved (“publishing”) members can post articles, blogs commentaries, and research articles on a variety of subjects.  A special section is the Learning Center, where articles and excerpts on basic subjects will be posted.  The authors always will retain the copyrights to their contributions.  Initially, publishing membership will be by invitation of the administrator.  If you wish to publish your work in the community, send a request (with samples of your work, to the Administrator.

Future changes may allow the posting of news feeds and the creation of interactive tools.  However, the real goal is to create the type of environment that helps fixed income investors and professionals do their work better and more efficiently.  The site’s administrator is looking for ways to make it more useful and helpful, so please communicate your thoughts and ideas.  The site is completely free of charge.

A few ground rules to follow in the Forums:

•Keep it professional.  While the Forums will only show user names, try to write as if your post was being published.  It’s important to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly.  And please keep it clean.

•Keep it honest.  If you’re looking to trade a position, don’t try to manipulate the site by posting bogus color or quotes. 

•This site is not designed or intended to serve as a vehicle to execute transactions, or to serve as a trading matchmaker.  Please don’t use the site to attempt to execute or line up transactions.  Also, you post your personal information (i.e., your phone number or email address) at the risk of your own privacy.

Violators of these simple ground rules may have their membership in the site terminated, at the sole discretion of the administrator.
